November 18th, 2006 – Arkansas City, Kansas

The Second K1 District Cabinet Meeting will be held at the Middle School in Arkansas City, Kansas.  The Middle School is located at the corner of Kansas and “C” Streets in Ark City.  The Ark City Lions clubs will be our hosts. We will have the use of their computer lab, so Secretaries, please bring your Computer password as Lions Club International has promised that the website will be functioning that day so we can have a good training session on its use. There will be lunch provided by the Ark City Band with a cover charge of $10 which will go to the Band as a fundraiser.  They will also provide some jazz music for us. Classes will be offered in the following:  Website Use, Membership ideas, Fund Raising Ideas, and Officer Training. 1st District K1 Cabinet Meeting
August 19th, 2006 – Chanute, Kansas

Our 1st Cabinet meeting was held at NCCC with more than sixty-seven Lions in attendance. This was a major change in attitude. Lions came for discussion and learning about membership growth, Fund Raising, Branch Clubs and Campaign Sight 1st. We held the Cabinet meeting in the Lecture Hall utilizing the greatest in technology from power points being played out over many TV monitors throughout the hall.
